  CLAMPITT
  
  Emma Margurte [sic] Clampitt, 74, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 29, 1989, in
  Meyersdale Manor.  She was born Nov 15, 1914, in Benton.  Daughter of the
  late Louis S. and N. Leona Cromis.  She was preceded in death by two
  husbands, Harry P. Vogt and Fred M. Clampitt.  She was a retired reporter
  for the Courier News in Gannett, N.J., and for the Somerset Daily
  American.  She was a member of the Tall River Chapter, Order of Eastern
  Star.  Member of the Retired Women of the New Jersey Press Association and
  of the PBW Association, Punta Gorda, Fla.  Member of the Somerset Alliance
  Church. Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Meyersdale
  Manor.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or
  the Heart Association in her name.
