  CLAMPITT
  
  Fred Clampitt, 76, of Stoystown RD 3, a former reporter for the Somerset
  Daily American, died Oct. 8, 1981, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born in
  Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Clampitt was associated with the news media in
  Cleveland, Cincinnati, Miami Fla. and Bridgewater, New Jersey, prior to his
  retirement in 1917.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Maggie) Clampitt.
