  CLARK
  
  Harold C. Clark Sr., 61, of Meyersdale, died Aug. 21, 1987, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born June 12, 1926, in Boston, Mass., son of the late
  James T. and Singne (Lundgren) Clark.  He is survived by his wife, the
  former Lucinda Beck, and these children: Harold C. Jr., U.S. Navy, Norfolk,
  Va.; Guy James, Saniteria Springs, N.Y.; Mrs. Regina Clark Roy, U.S. Navy,
  Rota, Spain; and Miss Dawn C. Clark, at home; also seven grandchildren.  A
  brother of Jay and Donald, both of Riverside, Calif.  He was a veteran of
  the U.S. Navy, World War II.  He was the owner and publisher of the
  Meyersdale Republic, and he worked for the Washington Post for 24 years,
  and the Annapolis Evening Capital for 14 years.  He also belonged to the
  Meyersdale Rotary Club and served on the board of directors of the
  Pennsylvania Maple Festival.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Saturday,
  2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Mass of
  Christian Burial will be Monday, 11 a.m. at the Sts. Philip and James
  Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with the Rev. James Bunn officiating. 
  Interment, church cemetery.
