  Harold R. "Tie Rod" Clark, 67, of Friedens died Aug. 12, 1995 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 23, 1928 in Hooversville.  Son of Freeman and Mary
  (Bun) Clark.  Preceded in death by parents, his wife, the former Ruth
  Miller, daughter Betty Rae, brothers Clyde, Wilson and Kenneth, and sisters
  Carrie Weible and Dolly Sharp.  Survived by daughter Sandra Rae married to
  Kerry "Sam" Houpt of Friedens, and grand daughters JoAnna Marie and Julie
  Ann Houpt.  Brother of Alton of Michigan and Fay Niskach of Pittsburgh.
  Retired coal truck driver. W.W. II Army Veteran.  Member of Glencoe United
  Church of Christ.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Paul E. Claycomb. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
