Clark, 56, Meyersdale, died suddenly Tuesday, April 5 at his home. He was born April 14, 1909 in Meyersdale, a son of the late John H. and Anne E. (Winters) Clark. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Layton Clark; three brothers and two sisters: Francis E. Clark, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio: James B. Clark, Dr. Donald L. Clark and Mrs. Mary [?]runell, all of Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Elsie Stilson, Colon, Republic of Panama. Mr. Clark was a veteran of World War II, a Purple Heart recipient, who served with the [?]th division. He was active in the Republican party as a committeeman for 27 years and was employed as a resource examiner by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Assistance. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at S.S. Philip and James Catholic Church, Saturday. Burial was in the church cemetery.
