  Ruth E. (Trexel) Clarke, 82, Somerset Pike, Boswell (Jenner Twp.), died
  March 17, 2003, at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Feb.
  27, 1921, in Jenner Twp., daughter of Joseph and Edith (Friedline)
  Trexel.  Preceded in death by parents, husband George R., Dec. 5, 1995, and
  brother Donald.  Survived by sons, Robert J., married to Marilyn Schoenig of
  Pittsford, N.Y., and Roger D., married to Carol Paulakos, Berlin;
  grandchildren, Jordan, Amanda, Angel, Pedro and Brenda Clarke; and
  brothers, Robert Trexel, Jenner Twp., and James J. Trexel and wife Helen,
  San Diego, Calif.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  A 1940
  graduate of the former Boswell High School.  Former proof reader for the
  Somerset Daily American.  Retired employee of the Boswell office, U.S.
  Postal Service.  Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Jennerstown.  Active with the Somerset Senior Citizens Center.  Enjoyed
  crossword puzzles and bus trips.  Ruth and her husband also enjoyed
  traveling throughout the country.  Ruth was very proud of her family and
  also looked forward to time spent with her many special friends.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.
