ELLA SCHELL CLARKE

  Mrs. Ella Schell Clarke, widow of Dr. Robert W. Clarke, of Cleveland, O., died 
recently at the home of her son, Major Robert W. Clarke, U.S.A., Sarasota, Fla., 
where she was accustomed to spend the winter for a number of years.
  Mrs. Clarke was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jacob Schell, early 
residents of Somerset.  Following her marriage to Dr. Clarke, of Uniontown, she 
resided in that city for a period of years, before the family moved to 
Pittsburgh and later to Cleveland, O.
  In addition to her son she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Burton J. Speaker, 
of Cleveland, O., by a brother, Paul A. Schell, of Somerset, and these sisters: 
Mrs. Ida Schell Wilson, of Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Edith Schell Shepardson, of St. 
Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Annie Schell Lewis, of Bradford, New Hampshire.
