  George Rogers Clarke, 90, Boswell RD 1, passed away after a lengthy illness
  Dec. 5, 1995, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville.  Born Oct. 6, 1905, in
  Philadelphia, son of Norton O. Sr. and Jennie (Davis) Clarke.  Preceded in
  death by parents; sister, Jeannette Tenney, and brother, Edward.  Survived
  by wife, the former Ruth Trexel; sons: Robert James, married to Marilyn
  (Schoenig), Pittsford, N.Y., and Roger Douglas, married to Carol
  (Paulakos), Berlin.  Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Jordan. 
  Brother of Norton O. Jr., Boca Raton, Fla.; Edwina Poetker, Highland, Md.;
  and Marguerite Watson, Nokomis, Fla.  Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical
  Lutheran Church, Jennerstown.  Retired architectural draftsman.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday,
  Rev. Edward N. Corneilson officiating.  Interment, St. James Cemetery,
  Jenner Township.
