  CLAY
  
  Betty L. Clay, 73, of Rockwood RD 1 died Oct. 20, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June I, 1923, in Summit Township.  Daughter of the late
  Herbert Earl and Leila (Baughman) Christner.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, Clyde, in 1992.  Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Barbara)
  Berkey of Rockwood RD 3 and sons, Edward E. Clay, married to the former
  Susan Funk, of Rockwood RD 2, and Kenneth E. Clay, married to the former
  Beverly Mosgrave, of Somerset RD 1.  Five grandchildren: Brian and Heidi
  Clay, Braxton Berkey and Leah and Luke Clay.  Sister of Margaret White of
  Meyersdale RD 3, Orville Christner of Finzel, Md., and Alfred Christner of
  Berlin.  Member of Messiah Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received from
  7 to 9 p.m. today (Monday) and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur
  D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Pastor John Palko officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
