Born Oct. 9, 1921 in Jefferson Twp., a daughter of Mabel Gertrude Showman. Preceded in death by her mother, husband Glenn Thomas Clay who died Oct. 18, 1969, and an infant daughter. Survived by daughters: Cathelia, wife of Dr. Charles Maxin M.D. of State College; Bonita, wife of Ernest Lohr of Hooversville; Anita Koreen, wife of Thomas Owen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Claudia, wife of Ivan Radman of Astoria, N.Y.; Adria Lee wife of James Hadly of Fallsington; six grandchildren: Greg Lohr, Kelsey and Halley Maxin, Gillian Owen Magdelene and Lily Hadly; one great-granddaughter, Meghan Lohr. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A 1939 graduate of Somerset High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Somerset Hospital retiring in 1985 with 15 years of service. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev.
