Clay, 89, New Centerville, passed on Dec. 3, 2005, at The Patriot in Somerset. Born March 3, 1916, in Stonycreek Township, the daughter of the late George and Julia (Yoder) Rayman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Clay in 1972; sister, Cynthia Walker; brothers, Homer, Lewis, Morris, Clarence and Ira Rayman and son-in-law Richard Stutzman. She is survived by children, Marlene and husband, Paul Conn, Somerset, Mary Lou Stutzman, Somerset and Richard Clay and wife, Shirley, New Centerville; grandchildren, Bradley, Brian and Barry Conn, Deneen Baer, Lee Ann Miller, Barbara Sopich, Gail Henry and Neil Clay and eight great-grandchildren, Westley, Landon, Derek, Jordan, Jonathan and Giovanni Conn, Ryan and Travis Varchetti, Justin Fogle and Graydon Miller. She was a member of the New Centerville and Rural Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for more than 50 years and was a life-long member of Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. The Ladies' Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church. The Revs. Will Osman and Larry Hoover officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
