Claycomb, 90, of Brethren Village, Lancaster, formerly of Johnstown, died May 16, 1994, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Sept. 12, 1903, in Johnstown. Daughter of William and Lovina (Hillegas) Hershberger. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Luther P. Claycomb; and brother, William J. Hershberger. Survived by children: Robert E. Claycomb, married to the former Barbara Dickel, of Maplewood, N.J., and Janet C. Dodge of Harrisburg; also six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was an elementary teacher in the Westmont-Upper Yoder School District for 28 years. Member of Moxham Colonial Church of the Brethren and Order of the Eastern Star 183. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the John Henderson Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Dr. John Ellis officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
