Born April 16, 1922 in Lincoln Township, the daughter of Clark Selmer and Blanche R. (Baker) Miller. She is preceded in death by parents. She is survived by her husband Melvin Ross Claycomb to whom she was married 52 years; children, Anita Gale, wife of Takeshi Uchisaka, Osaka, Japan; Brian C. Claycomb, married to the former Debora Faulkner, Greenville, S.C.; Leslie A. Claycomb, wife of Jeffery Fowley, Marblehead, Mass.; and 6 grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Harry E. (June) Walker, Boswell RD 1. A 1941 graduate of Susquehanna University. Member of Christ Community of Faith Church of Somerset and Trinity Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star, Somerset. Retired former co-owner and floral arranger for Bittner Greenhouse. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Order of Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Christ Community of Faith Church, Somerset, with the Rev. George W. Walton officiating. No viewing at the church. Interment Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Christ Community of Faith Church, 117 West First Street, Somerset, Pa., 15501.
