  Phyllis S. Claypool, 74, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Alum Bank and
  Berlin, died Nov. 19, 1998.  Preceded in death by husband Earl Burton
  Claypool; sisters Ada Louise Saylor, Velma Rae Saylor and Dorothy M.
  Zarefoss; brothers R. Paul Saylor and Elbert L. Saylor.  Survived by
  daughter, Mrs. Barry (Stephanie) Cooney of Katy, Texas, and son, Earl S.,
  married to the former Marie Lynn Amma, of Fort Myers, Fla.  Grandchildren
  Michael, Shawn and Brett Phennicie; Earl D. and Tiffany R. Claypool.  Also
  three great-grandchildren.  Sister of Lois Wolfersberger, Winchester, Va.;
  Stewart Saylor, Friedens; Donald Saylor, Clinton Township, Mich.; A. Gene
  Saylor, Chantilly, Va.; and Dwight Saylor, Sterling, Va.  Member of the
  Russell Park Baptist Church.  Retired from United Telephone Co.  Family
  will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday.  The Rev. Melvin A.
  Kirk Jr. officiating.  Interment, Home United Methodist Church Cemetery,
  Alum Bank.
