  David John Clement Jr., 74, Tire Hill, died Sept. 16, 1989, at home.  Born
  June 5, 1915, in Pitcairn, Pa., son of David John and Elizabeth (Krumm)
  Clement Sr.  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Paul, who died in
  1979.  Survived by beloved wife, Stella Nestor, and these children: Barbara
  J., widow of John M. Sturtz, Elton; David J., Johnstown; Daniel H., married
  to the former Alice Cercek, Mentor, Ohio; Sandra, wife of David Golden,
  Elton; 6 grandchildren, John, Mark, Krista, Danielle, Delinda, Daniel (DJ.)
  and Kellyann, and one great-grandson, Ryan.  Brother of Tim, married to the
  former Irene Mefzaros, Tire Hill; Lillian, widow of Thomas Majher, Tire
  Hill; Howard, married to the former Marie Battista, Greenville, Calif.; and
  sister-in-law, Bertha Clement, Cumberland, R.I.  Member of St. Andrews
  Catholic Church.  Past president of Conemaugh Township Area School Board. 
  Democratic committeeman for Somerset County.  Retired Men's Club, Johnstown
  Rod and Gun Club and past president of Local 998, United Mine Workers, both
  of Tire Hill.  Retired from Island Creek Coal Company with 48 years of
  service.  Death breaks marriage union of 53 years.  Family receiving
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at George E. Mason Funeral Home,
  Davidsville, where wake will be said at 8 p.m. Monday.  Mass of Christian
  Burial at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Monsignor Joseph
  Fleming.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
