(Weaver) Clement, 92, St. John's Specialty Home, Mars, Pa., formerly of East Campus Avenue, Davidsville died July 31, 2003, at the home. Born May 23, 1911, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Emma (Ott) Weaver. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 45 years, Harry F., 1985; daughter Ann Mears 1977; sisters Mayme Wertz and Helen Weaver; and brothers Carl, Ernest, Glen and Robert Weaver. Survived by sons the Rev. David H. and wife, Tanya, Greensburg; and Donald A. and wife, Donna, Durham, N.C.; grandchildren, Mark and Matthew Clement and Breta Benson and husband John; and two great-grandchildren Luke and Ella Benson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A 1929 graduate of Johnstown High School. Member of St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville, where she had been an active loyal member for many years. Also member of the Sage Herbalist of the Laurel Highlands. She loved to tend her flowers and her garden. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. David's Church, the Rev. Nelson F. Ilgenfritz officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery.
