Clevenger, 67, of Georgetown, Fla., formerly of Confluence, died Jan. 6, 1999 at Gainesville VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Fla. Born Aug. 7, 1931 in Casselman, a son of Irene (Younkin) Clevenger Smith, of Minnesota and the late Charles Clevenger. Preceded in death by his wife Catherine. In addition to his mother, he is survived by four children, Richard Clevenger and Brenda Kesler, both of Amelia Island, Fla., Vicki Barkley, of Rockwood and Maxine Fulton, of Normalville, four step-sons, Warren Tressler, of Mill Run, Wayne Tressler, of Connellsville, Dale Tressler, of Indian Head, and Dane Tressler, of Normalville, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, step-mother Pansy Clevenger, of Confluence, and sisters Mona Jean Close and Bonnie Johnson, both of Confluence, and Barbara Beal, of Somerset. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev.
