Clevenger, 84, of Confluence, died Sept. 2, 2003, at her home. She was born April 11, 1919, a daughter of the late Leroy and Ethel Christine (Wingard) Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Beaver" Clevenger on Dec. 1, 1977, daughters, Mona Jean Close and Reba Woods; sons, Daniel, Fred, and Harold Clevenger and brothers, Robert, Ruben, William and Harry Leroy Johnson. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Beal of Somerset, and Bonetta Johnson of Confluence; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freda McNair of Mt. Pleasant, Louetta Silbaugh of Bruceton Mills, W.Va., and Nancy Michaels of Sharon and brothers Emery Johnson, Youngstown, Ohio and Carl Johnson, Confluence. She was a member of the Somerset Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Friends will be received from 2 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. with speaker, James Kinneer officiating.
