  Charles Howard Clites Jr., 75, Cumberland, Md., died May 26, 2005, at Memorial
  Hospital. Born October 11, 1929 in Ridgeley, W.Va., he is the son of the late
  Charles Howard Clites, Sr. and Emma Katherine (Krampf) Clites. Survivors
  include his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Clites; one son, Gregory Alan Clites, and
  wife, Lynda Sue, Meyersdale; daughters, Cynthia Ann Clark, and husband, James
  E. Clark Jr., Barton, and Charlene Marie Moon, and husband, Jay, Finzel, Md.;
  brother, Gary Lee Clites, and wife, Betty Mae, Carpendale, W.Va.; and 11
  grandchildren. Mr. Clites had served in the U.S. Air Force during the time of
  the Korean Conflict. He was retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Co., having
  worked in the factory. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, Md.,
  where a funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. James Kurtz,
  OFM, Cap., officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, where
  military honors will be accorded by the local combined veterans honor guard.
