  THELMA CLITES
  
    Thelma (Gerhart) Clites, 80, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Meyersdale,
  died May 8, 1996, in a Torrance. Calif., hospital.
    Born May 15, 1915, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Clyde Elmer and
  Sadie Alice (Mull) Gerhart.
    Mrs. Clites was preceded in death by one brother, Roy A., and a sister,
  Marie Louise Gerhart.  She was also preceded in death by her husband,
  Curtis Clites, formerly of Boynton.
    She moved from Pennsylvania to California in 1953.
    Mrs. Clites is survived by two sons and six daughters: Robert, Roy,
  Betty, Peg, Darlene, Ruth, Linda and Sandra Clites.
    She was employed as a seamstress for Meyersdale Manufacturing Company,
  and worked for TWA Airlines for 22 years as lead in the kitchen.
    Visitation was held at McCormick Chapel, Hawthorne, Calif.  Interment and
  graveside services were held at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redonda Beach,
  Calif.
