  LEWIS CLOSE
  
    Lewis Close, 74, of Confluence, died March 15, 1975, at his home.  Born
  June 21, 1900, in Somerfield, he was a son of the late William and Annetta
  (Osler) Close.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Butler and these children:
  Robert Elliott, Confluence; Willard, of Two Harbors, Minn.; James R. of
  Ruffsdale; Mrs. Annetta Barnhart, of Indian Head; Mrs. Martha Metheney,
  Confluence; Paul of Markleton RD; Tom of Confluence; Mrs. Esther Ann
  Livengood, Boswell; and Mrs. Rhonda Ulverich, Somerset RD 5; also 30
  grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother, Milford of Friedens,
  and a sister, Mrs. Esther Fitzsimmons of Farmington.
    Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, with Rev. John R. Hickson officiating.  Interment in Johnson
  Chapel Cemetery.
