Born Feb. 23, 1903, in Boswell, daughter of Edward and Amanda (Pardee) Gonder. Preceded in death by parents; husband Allen, who died in 1949; sister Opal; and brothers Percy, Walter and Edmund. Survived by children: Donald A., Englewood, Colo.; and Mrs. Jane May, Arlington Heights, Ill.; four grandchildren, Sister of Mrs. Ida Imhoff, Rawlings, Md.; Mrs. Doll O'Connor, Boswell; Mrs. Mabel Dietz, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Mrs. Ann Ward, Swarthmore, Pa.; and Frederick, Omaha, Neb. Member of N.R.T.A. and A.A.R.P. Denver, Colo. Teacher in Pittsburgh area schools for 15 years. Retired in 1971. Graduate of former Boswell High School and Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, Pa.
