  Wayne Franklin Close, 65, of Somerset (Roytown) died Oct 24, 2002.  Born
  June 20, 1937 in Somerset a son of Harry Cleveland and Elda Mae (Knupp)
  Close.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jeffrey Lynn
  Close who died May 16, 1986 a sister Alice Troy, and a brother Robert
  Close.  He is survived by his wife the former Nora G. Fisher to whom he was
  married 41 years; children: Ms. Carolyn J. Close, Wayne E. Close, married to
  the former Shari Miller and Miss Marlene A. Close, all of Somerset, and two
  grandsons, Mitchell and Mason Close.  Brother of Merle E. Reese of Somerset
  and Mrs. Sara Zarycki of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the U.S.
  Air Force, a member of the Somerset County Jeep Club, a truck driver for
  Dunamis Resources Coal Co, of Latrobe.  Friends will be received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where a
  service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Charles R. Hay
  officiating.  Interment Sipesville Cemetery.  Contributions may be sent to
  American Heart Association 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15904.
