  JAMES B. CLOSTERMAN
  
    James B. (Bert) Closterman, 88, of Red Hill, RD 5, Cumberland, Maryland,
  died March 14, 1984 at Frostburg Community Hospital.
    Born at Red Hill, he was a retired coal miner.  His wife, Mrs. Mary
  (Lavin) Closterman, preceded him in death.
    He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
    He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Theis, Ashtabula, Ohio, and
  Mrs. Jon Shultz, Meyersdale.
    Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Maryland.
    Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St.
  Michael's Catholic Church by Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder.  Interment, the
  parish cemetery.
