ALVENA WENDT COBAUGH

  Mrs. Alvena (Wendt) Cobaugh, aged 60 years, died at the home of her son-in-law 
and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Orville Lorenz, on Wednesday, January 1, at 9 
o'clock.
  Mrs. Cobaugh was born in Elyria, Ohio, February 22, 1880.  She is survived by 
her husband, Harry B. Cobaugh of Detroit, Mich., and five children: Harry F. 
Cobaugh and Mrs. Evelyn E. Atwell of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Florence Lorenz of 
Meyersdale; Walter Cobaugh of Dayton, O., and Miss Betty Cobaugh of Windber, one 
sister, Mrs. Nellie Batamor of Elyria, and two brothers, Henry and Fred Wendt, 
of Elyria, and five grandchildren.  One daughter, Mary, preceded her in death 
two years ago.
  Funeral services for Mrs. Cobaugh will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 
in the First Brethren Church, Napoleon Street, Johnstown, of which she was a 
member for 37 years.  Rev. A. L. Lynn, pastor of the church, will have charge of 
the service.  Interment will be made in the Richland Cemetery, Johnstown, by H. 
R. Konhaus, Meyersdale mortician.
