Cober, 65, of Sebring, Fla., died Oct. 25, 1986, at home. Born April 1, 1921, in Garrett, son of the late Albert M. and Erla Jane (Brant) Cober. Survived by wife, the former E. Bernice Leatherman; and these children: Mrs. Joyce E. Rockwell, Naperville, Ill.; Mrs. Janice A. Crowe, Birmingham, Ala.; James V., Morristown, Tenn.; and Dan D., Panama City, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Paul H. of Greenville, S.C., and William R. of Berlin. A member and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Sebring. A Navy veteran of World War II. Operator of a water treatment plant in Boca Raton, Fla., for 30 years before retirement in 1983, when he moved to Sebring. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Sebring. Graveside services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery, the Rev. Ralph E.
