        Phyllis M. Cober, 77 of Berlin, died July 1, 2007 at The Patriot, Somerset. 
        She was born November 14, 1929 in Berlin, the daughter of Charles
    and Annie (Gindlesperger) Saylor. She was 
    preceded in death by parents; husband of 52 years, William Sr.; grandson,
    Benjamin Cober; and sisters: Mary Saylor and  Helen Witt.
        She is survived by these children: William Jr. married to the former
    Kay Ann Lichvar, Berlin; Charles A. married to 
    the former Susan Walker, Bernville; Richard P. married to the former Bonnie
    Burns, Titusville; Ronald W. married to the 
    former Chong Mi Cha, Aurora, CO; Kirk L. married to the former Amy
    Puffenberger, Dillsburg; Dawn H. Bennett married 
    to Kim, Berlin.      Grandchildren: Elizabeth C.
    (Joseph) Gillette, Christa A. Cober, William J. Cober, Michael 
    A. Livengood, Eric D. (Petrea) Cober, David Cober, Mark Cober, Robin Cober,
    Raymond W. Cober, Andrew Cober, Hope M. 
    Cober, Marieka Cober, Zachary Cober and Anna R. Bennett. 
        A sister of: John Saylor and wife Viola, Somerset; Richard Saylor
    and wife Lois, Shirley Reed and husband Edward, 
    and Carl Saylor and wife Karol, all of Berlin; and Robert Saylor and wife
    Darlene, Arizona. Also survived by numerous 
    nieces and nephews.
        She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a member
    of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed 
    gardening, bird watching, reading and baking. 
        Family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
    Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will 
    be held Friday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment
    Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. 
        Memorial contributions may be given to the Berlin Volunteer Fire
    Department, Berlin, PA 15530.
