    Verda M. Cober, 93, of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Berlin, died Feb.
  25, 1978, in St. Luke's Lutheran Home.  Born Feb. 19, 1885, in Somerset
  County, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Walker) Beachley. 
    She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Emerson Cober.
    She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Klinger of North
  Canton, Ohio; and a son, Jay B. Cober of Wittman, Md.; six grandchildren
  and seven great-grandchildren.
    Services were held Wednesday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home.
