Cochran, 75, died July 16, 1979, in Long Beach. Resided at 5847 Lanai St., Long Beach, Calif. Born June 12, 1904, in Salisbury, son of Charles F. and Gertrude (Brehm) Cochran. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and one sister. Survived by wife, the former Elizabeth Mostoller; one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Jean) Paul; and two grandsons, Michael A. Say Sr. of Long Beach, Calif., and Paul E. Falce of Abilene, Texas. Also survived by two great-grandch1dren. Brother of Mrs. Freda Rhodes, Acosta. Mr. Cochran was a graduate of Somerset Area High School and the Pennsylvania State University and was a teacher in Somerset County for many years. He retired in 1969 as a supervisory social caseworker for Los Angeles County after 20 years. Was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Services will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge at Sheelar-Stricklin Mortuary Chapel Thursday at 1 p.m., to be followed by interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif.
