  CODDINGTON
  
    Vesta I. Coddington, 9O, of Star Route, Friendsville, died November 1,
  1982 at her residence. 
  Born in Accident, Maryland she was a daughter of the late Jacob Beeghly and
  Catherine (Speicher) Beeghly.  Her husband, Earl L. Coddington, died in 1974. 
    She was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Accident.
    She is survived by four sons, Leo Coddington, Grantsville, Md.; Wade
  Coddington, Camp Hill; Raymond Coddington, Accident, Md.; Donald
  Coddington, Circleville, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Georg,
  Friendsville, Md.; Mrs. Gladys Savage, McHenry, Md.; Mrs. Helen Keller,
  Accident; Mrs. Betty Rittenhouse, Friendsville; Mrs. Jean Mettscher,
  Dayton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 27
  great-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, and two
  great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. 
    Services will be conducted Thursday at Bear Creek Church of the Brethren
  in Accident with the Rev. Paul Mohler and the Rev. William Shimer
  officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
    The body will be taken to the church one hour before the services.
