"Tony" Codispoti, 79, 4901 Henry Hudson Parkway, Apt. 5-H, Bronx, N. Y., 10411, formerly of Jenners, died Dec. 25, 2003 in New York City. Born Aug. 19, 1924 in Jenners, son of Pasquale J. and Madeline M. (Crusco) Codispoti. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Fortunato M. "Florence" Policicchio and Mildred Hancock and brothers, Domenic J., Vincent G. and Natale J. "Nathan." Survived by wife of 52 years, the former Concetta Tedesco; sons Anthony J. and Michael J., both of New York City; brothers Angelo J., married to Jeanette Pucci of Jenners, and John of Montross, Va.; brothers-in-law Gregory Policicchio, Boswell, and James Hancock, Tampa, Fla.; sister-in-law Elizabeth (Malatesta) Codispoti, Pittsburgh; and numerous other relatives. Graduate of the former Boswell High School Class of 1943. Member of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church and Boswell Lodge 1780 Sons of Italy, Navy veteran of World War II. Retired owner/operator of a parking garage in New York City. Visitation was held Sunday and a funeral Mass Monday in New York. Visitation also from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, followed by committal at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Jennerstown. The Rev. Mr. Jay Pyle, deacon, officiating. Graveside military rite in charge of the Somerset County Honor Guard. SOI memorial service at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
