Born Nov.23, 1899. in Trichina, Calabria, Italy, daughter of Angelo and Immaculata (Lombardi) Crusco. Preceded in death by parents; step-mother, Maria (Castagna) Crusco; husband, Pasqualle J., March 17,1944; daughter, Fortunata M. "Florence" Policicchio, Sept. 6, 1978; son, Domenic J., July 11, l989; granddaughter, Nancy Codispoti; sister, Rose Estevez; brothers, Robert and Arthur; and two infant brothers. Survived by these children: Mildred M., wife of James Hancock, Boswell; Angelo J., married to Jeanette Pucci, Jenners; Anthony B., married to Concetta Tedesco, New York, N.Y.; John N., Falls Church, Va.; Vincent G., West Hartford, Conn.; and Nathan J., Jenners. Also survived by son-in-law, Gregory Policicchio, Boswell; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Malatesta) Codispoti, Pittsburgh;21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Catherine "Katie" residing at home with Madeline for many years; Mildred, widow of Jose Alvarez, Bergenfield, N.J.; Julia, wife of James Lesca, and Joseph, married to Madelyn Calise, New York, N.Y.; Elizabeth, wife of Anthony Jarosick, Boswell; Louis and Carmella, both of New York, N.Y., and Martha, widow of Frank Jarosick, Boswell. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jenners. Long-time treasurer of St. Ann's Sodality. Also member of Boswell Lodge1780, Sons of Italy, where she has served as financial secretary for the past 54 years. Founded, along with husband Pasqualle, Patsy's Meats, Jenners, in 1917, later Codispoti Grocery. Friends received from 7-9p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell where wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church. the Rev. Father Blase Wegierski, O.F.M. Conv. celebrant. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Jenner Crossroads.
