Born Dec. 18, 1941, in Latrobe, a son of Robert H. Cogan, Meyersdale and the late Harriet Emma (Barnhart) Cogan. Also preceded in death by infant brother Robert. Survived by two brothers, Larry R. Cogan and his wife Nila, Friedens, and James L. Cogan and his wife, Gloria, Farmington. Other survivors include, three nieces, Rebecca, wife of Joseph Sensor, Anna, wife of Alan Hope, and Elizabeth Cogan, and a nephew, Robert Cogan; also a great-niece, Madeline Sensor and a great-nephew, Maxwell Sensor. Bill loved farming and helping neighbors with equipment. A retired biology teacher at Glen Burnie, Md. schools and a retired auto mechanics teacher for Somerset County Vo-Tech. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating.
