  ALVENIA H. COLE
  
  Alvenia H. Cole, 83, of the Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md.,
  died Jan. 13, 1981 at Frostburg Community Hospital, after a short illness.
  She was born in Frostburg, Md., and was a daughter of the late David and
  Gwendolyn (Jeffreys) Cole.  Her husband, Charles A. Cole, preceded her in
  death.
  She was a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church, the Pythian Sisters,
  Farrady Post 24, American Legion Auxiliary, Friendly Group and World War I
  Barracks Auxiliary.
  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Baker, Frostburg, and several
  nieces and nephews.
  Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home.
  Funeral services were conducted at Welsh Memorial Baptist Church with the
  Rev. Lewis W. Terry officiating.  Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial
  Park.
