Cole Sr., 57, of Heath, Ohio, formerly of Boswell RD, died Jan. 23, 2001, at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio. Born March 12, 1943, in Jenner township. Son of Milton and Mabel (Blough) Cole. Preceded in death by father and son Brian, who died July 9, 1997. Survived by mother, with whom he resided; children James M. II, Newark, Ohio, Dale W., Columbus, Ohio, and Summer M. Cole, State College; and sister Karen, married to Larry Shannon, Elyria, Ohio. Also numerous nieces and nephews. A member of N.A.R.F.E. Employed 25 years as an electronic technician at Newark Air Force Base, Heath, Ohio. U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. 1961 graduate of the former J.B.J. Joint Schools, Boswell. Enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where a service will be 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wilma G.
