  John R. Cole, 65, of Somerset RD 2, died April 18, 1975, in Mercy Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born May 31, 1909, in Boswell, son of Peter and Nettie (Gilbert)
  Cole.  Survived by wife, Virginia (Stem) Cole and these children: John R.,
  Akron, Ohio; Jane, wife of Anthony Magazzu, Boswell RD 2; Shirley, wife of
  Russell Harris, Manassas, Va.; Sandra Lee, wife of John Mattie, Gray; Ruth
  Elaine, wife of Robert Fritz.  Somerset RD 2; and Peter at home; 7
  grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Baker, Frederick, Md.  Member
  of the Maple Springs Church Of The Brethren, UMWA, and he was a retired
  miner.  Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service will be today, Monday, at 2 p.m. at the Maple
  Springs Church Of The Brethren with Rev. Carroll S. Ringgold officiating. 
  Interment church cemetery.  Body will be removed to the church at 1 p.m
  until the time of service.
