(Blough) 03/18/07 Daily American Mabel R. (Blough) Cole, 90, Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Jenner Township, died March 15, 2007, in Lorain. Born Nov. 11, 1916, in Jenner Township, daughter of Micheal J. and Estella (Holsopple) Blough. Preceded in death by par-ents; husband, Milton, in 1944; son, James, Jan. 23, 2001; grandson, Brian Cole; infant brother, Richard Blough; brother, Harold Blough; and sister, Beatrice Mostoller. Survived by daughter, Karen, married to Larry Shannon, Elyria, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean, married to the former Alice Zimmerman, Jenner Township, and Robert, mar-ried to the former Peggy Zimmerman, Jenner Crossroads; former sister-in-law, Helen Weaver, Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of the former Boswell High School, a retired seamstress for the former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell, a lifetime member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church, Jenner Township, and a member of the ILGWU. She enjoyed quilting and painting land-scape portraits. A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 227 Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hopewell Church, the Rev. Wilma G. Horner officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
