Coleman, aged 70, a former Sheriff of Somerset County, died Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of his son, Robert Coleman, in Akron, O. Mr. Coleman left Somerset eight years ago to make his home in the Ohio city. He had been in poor health for the last few months. Andrew Coleman was elected to the office of Sheriff of Somerset County in 1903 and served for three years in that capacity. His wife preceded him to the grave a number of years ago. In addition to the son mentioned above, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ellen Glotfelty, of Seward, Pa. The body will arrive at Somerset Friday morning and will be taken to the D. J. Dixon home, on Church Street. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. George L. Roth, pastor of the Somerset Reformed Church. Interment will be in the Husband Cemetery. Mr. Coleman was a man of very genial disposition and was a very popular and efficient sheriff. Meyersdale Republican, April 17, 1930
