  Edith Christine "Chris" Coleman, 73, Somerset, died Dec. 11, 2006, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born June 2, 1933, in Somerset, daughter of John Penney and Elizabeth
  Ann (Thomas) McNelly. Preceded in death by parents; brother, John Thomas
  McNelly; sister, Mary Louise Snyder; and former husbands, Charles Kessen and
  Neil Allen Coleman. Survived by children, William E. Kessen, married to the
  former Beth Williams, Huntingdon; Mrs. Ronald (Karen A.) Barteck and Ms.
  Christy D. Walters, both of Chesterfield, Va.; Mr. Tracy L. Kessen, Somerset;
  Scott A. Coleman, married to the former Donna Lynch, Shippensburg;
  grandchildren, Christopher and Jason Walters, Chesterfield, Va.; Justin and
  Joshua Walters, Denver, N.C.; Dylan Kessen, Somerset; Miss Ally Coleman and
  Brady Coleman, Shippensburg; Miss Emmy Benford, Kileen, Texas; Danielle Coons,
  Jenna and Rex Cuff, Huntingdon; great-grandchildren, Cammie Worthy, Shane Coons
  and Andrew Cuff, Huntingdon. Also survived by sisters, Jane Schrock, Lewisburg;
  and Mrs. Dorothy Long, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and brother, William G. McNelly and
  wife, Edna Mae, Somerset. Worked on the assembly line for the former Devilbis
  Healthcare Products. She was also owner and operator of Chris' Beauty Bar. Also
  a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and Somerset VFW Post 559 Ladies
  Auxiliary. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted 1 p.m.
  Friday. The Rev. Sherman H. Berkey officiating. Memorial contributions may be
  made to the American Lung Assn., Wexford Professional Building, Suite 2104,
  Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090.
