He was born Aug. 13, 1952, in Somerset, son of E. Devon and Violet M. (Vought) Coleman, of Somerset RD 1. Besides his parents, he survived by the following brothers and sisters: Earl Devon Coleman Jr.; William Lee Coleman, both of Somerset RD 1; Carol Jane Coleman of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Bryan (Rosemarie) Younkin, and Mrs. Charles (Ruth Ann) Kreger, both of Markleton RD 1. He is also survived by paternal grandfather, Alton M. Coleman, of Berlin RD 4. A member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville; Rockwood High School Class of 1971. He was employed by PBS Coals Inc., Somerset; a well-known tricounty marathon 10,000 kilometers runner, participating in many events. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at the Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gergory Pyle officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Republic, October 8, 1981 [C0677]
