Born Oct. 30, 1932, in Berlin, he is the son of Alton M. and Mabel R. (Hentz) Coleman. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law Emma Grace (Coleman) and Richard Deaner and sister-in-law, Violet (Vought) Coleman. Survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Anna Belle Beachley; children: Ronald F. married to the former Cindy Ross, Emaline L. married to Martin E. Diehl, John Bradley married to the former Christina Mishler; Kenneth A., married to the former Patricia Kovack; grandchildren: Gered, Amanda, Kendra, Keneisha, and Luke; brother E. Devon Coleman; special mother-in-law Elsie Beachley; aunt Ferne Hay and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren where he currently served as deacon, ministerial commission chairman, choir member, and former Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and youth adviser. He was formerly an adviser of the Western Pa. District Youth Choir and Western Pa. District Disaster Team. He was current chairman of the Brothersvalley Township Supervisors and was formerly employed as a partsman for PBS Coals, and a breadman for the former Callen Bakery of Windber. President of the Berlin Sportsman Association, and a member of the Meyersdale Men's Chorus. U.S. Army veteran and a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School class of 1952. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing also from 10 a.m. Friday until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Beachdale Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Larry Black and the Rev. Dr. Ronald Beachley officiating.
