Coleman, 77, of Berlin RD 1, died Jan. 16, 1980, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. She was born April 23, 1902, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of the John H. and Mary Grace (Brant) Hentz. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Alton M. and these children: Mrs. Richard (Emma Grace) Deaner, Berlin RD 3; Devon, Somerset RD 1; and John F., Berlin RD 1; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Glen Hentz, Claysville, Pa.; and one sister, Mrs. Jennings (Fern) Hay, of Rockwood. Her death ended a marriage of 61 years. She was a member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren and the Ladies Aid Society of the church, Valley Grange, Second Society of Farm Women and Berlin Mountaineer Homemakers. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhhnan Funeral Home Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Donald Deffenbaugh and the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F.
