Born July 30, 1934, in Somerset Township, son of the late Robert Critchfield and Nellie Louise (Hay) Coleman. Survived by his former wife, Edith C. (McNelly) Coleman, and these children: William E. Kessen, married to the former Karen Ringler, Indian Lake; Mrs. Ronald (Karen) Bartek, Chesterfield, Va; Mrs. Donald (Christy) Waiters, Berlin; Tracy L. Kessen of Sipesville, and Scott A. Coleman, Somerset RD 6; four grandsons - Jason, Justin and Joshua Walters, and Christopher Bartek. Brother of Robert H. Coleman, Berlin RD 4; J. William Coleman, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Ronald (Mary Ann) Ankney, Somerset RD 6. The owner and operator of Coleman's Garage, Lavansville. 1952 graduate of Somerset High School. U.S. Army veteran. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, American Legion Post No. 181, and the National Rifle Association. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.
