Coleman, 87, of Rockwood RD 2, died Jan. 31, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1894, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Henry and Lena (Preller) Coleman. He was preceded in death by three sisters. He is survived by wife, the former Edith Brougher; son, William W. Coleman II of Waseca, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Collins, Confluence RD 1; one granddaughter, Carey. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville; member of McCandless Lodge 390 F&AM Oakland, life member of Pittsburgh Consistory, life member of Syria Temple, Pittsburgh; World War I veteran, serving with the Army Ambulance Service; retired salesman for King and Malcolm of New York. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted with the Rev. Gregory Pile officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
