Colflesh, 59, Confluence RD 3, died May 27, 1983, at home. He was born June 8, 1923, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Milton B. and Annie A. (Snyder) Colflesh. He is survived by his wife, Viola M. (Hall) Colflesh, and four daughters, Barbara Harrold, Rockwood RD 1, Deborah Frazee, Ft. Hill RD 1, Janice Wood, Centerville, Texas, and Pamela Hartman, Confluence RD 3, eight grandchildren, two brothers, George and Milton, both of Confluence, and a sister, Maude Kreger, Markleton, also a half-brother, Sylvester Tressler, Confluence. He was a Lower Turkeyfoot Township supervisor, a member of the Construction Workers Union, a former member of the Turkeyfoot Valley Area School Board, member of the Ursina American Legion, member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association, and WW II veteran. Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services were held with the Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating. Interment, Younkin Cemetery. The Republic, June 2, 1983 [C0725]
