  George S. (Red) College Sr., 54, of Johnstown RD 4, was dead on arrival
  Oct. 22, 1974, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 30, 1920, in
  Johnstown, a son of Sylvester and Estella (Spangler) College.  Preceded in
  death by parents.  Survived by widow, the former Mary Ellen Hammer; two
  children: Lee J., married to the former Theresa Bodziak, Roc[?] RD 1, and
  George S. [?] home; two grandchildren, Scott and Lisa. Was a brother of:
  Jean, wife of [?] Ressler, Johnstown, and [?] wife of Frank K[?],
  Cleveland, Ohio.  Member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Benscreek;
  Boswell Post [?] American Legion; and [?] dale Sportsmen's Club.  Veteran
  of World War II.  Was an employe of U.S. Steel [?] Johnstown Works. 
  Friends received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home,
  409 Main St., Boswell, where rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
  Thursday.  Funeral mass at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church,
  the Rev. Joseph Fleming.  Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
