  Vincent J. Collette, 72, Jennerstown, formerly of Rockwood RD 2 and
  Florida, DOA Aug. 19, 1987, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 28,
  1915, in Worcester, Mass., son of Louis and Eugenie (St. Germaine)
  Collette.  Preceded in death by parents and one brother, Donald.  Survived
  by wife, the former Virginia Patterson; and children: Bob Lee DeFosses,
  married to Barbara Hamer, and Janet, widow of Douglas West, both of
  Gainsville, Fla.; Bobby, married to Jan Simpson, Fort Worth, Texas; Mary
  Ann, wife of Bernie Prince, St. Augustine, Fla.  Member of St. Peter's
  Catholic Church, Somerset, Boys Scouts of America, Scouting Order of the
  Arrow, D.A.V., St. Augustine K. of C. and VFW.  Retired from U.S. Postal
  Service.  Former manager of Scottyland.  Army veteran of World War II. 
  Active in scouting for over 30 years.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell where wake service
  will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
  Saturday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, the Rev. Monsignor Samuel
  J. Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
