  WALTER W. COLLIER
  
    Walter W. Collier, 92, of 60 LaVale Court, LaVale, Md., formerly of Route
  1, Grantsville, Md., died Monday, May 5, 1986 at the Goodwill Mennonite
  Nursing Home in Grantsville.
    Born May 4, 1894 near Accident, Md. he was the son of the late Tarleton
  O. Collier and Mary (Weller) Collier.
    He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church (LCA) at The
  Cove.  He served as an Army private in World War I and was a retired farmer.
    His wife, the former Dorothea L. Reichenbecher, died Oct. 13, 1978.
    He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
    He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth C. Fitzpatrick, LaVale, Md.;
  and two granddaughters.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. where
  services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church,
  The Cove, by the Rev. Stephen Yelovich.
    Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
