It seemed almost unbelievable to those who saw him in such good spirits on the previous Sunday morning at his post of faithful duty as the head of the hospitality committee. Mr. Collins loved the Church of Christ with deepest devotion and to it he gave fully of his strength to the last. Mr. Collins joined Epworth-Euclid Church along with Mrs. Collins and their two daughters, in October 1930, coming from the First Methodist Church of Beaver, Pa. Soon thereafter he was made a member of the Official Board and before long was made chairman of the hospitality committee in which capacity he was serving at the time of his passing. Besides his wife, the former Margaret Byrer, and two daughters, Mrs. Alfred R. Rauch, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Lorne W. Knister, of Detroit, Mr. Collins is survived by a sister, Mrs. Homer P. Hartley, of Beaver, Pa., and a brother, George W. Collins, of Altoona, formerly of Meyersdale. The Rev. Clarence E. Hall officiated at services Thursday evening at the J. D. Deutsch funeral home, 1486 Crawford Road. Frank F. Collins was a native of Meyersdale, the son of the late Johnson Collins, a pioneer merchant of Meyersdale. Meyersdale Republican, February 20, 1941
