   John J. Collins, 83, Confluence, passed on April 7, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  April 3, 1924, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, the son of the late Jack and Mae
  (Rugg) Collins. Preceded in death by his brother, Clarence. Survived by his wife of 42
  years, Carol (Coleman) Collins; son, Edward, Addison; brothers, James and wife Marion,
  Confluence and Lewis and wife Frances, Mill Run; and sister Ruth, Phoenix, Ariz. A
  graveside memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m.Tuesday at Maple Summit Cemetery in
  Mill Run.The Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset.
